Use mental exercise

Just like weight training, your young athlete needs to be mentally fit.  They have innate traits that will cause them to succeed (or  struggle) at the next level.  Our personalized mental fitness exercises are based on the AthleteDISC Assessment. Your athlete’s mental exercises will:
  • simplify their process
  • teaches them the skills to solve problems with others
  • helps them understand their own emotions
  • exposes their blindspots so they can grow
  • teaches them to invest in themselves
  • gives them the tools to achieve their own personal goals

What you can learn (for at home)

Before your athlete begins to struggle with something in pursuit of their sports dreams:

  • Understand what drives them
  • Understand what stresses them (in their sport & with others)
  • Know what limitations they have
  • Learn how to (and how not to) communicate with them
  • Let them develop their confidence & mental fitness

These are all explained in easy to understand terms in the Parent’s Guide, which references each key topic of your athlete’s AthleteDISC Profile Report. It offers practical insights that allow you to be the sports parent that your athlete needs.
